Gerald Buck

Jerry played his first Sunday on May 3, 1970.  During the next almost 45 years, he played the prelude, offertory, postlude and hymns for all church services.  He also accompanied the vocal choir for many of those years.  Jerry played for weddings, funerals, special events, and Music & More concerts.  If you were married in our church during those years, he most likely played for your wedding service.  His favorite composer for the organ was Johan Sebastian Bach, and his favorite hymn was ‘Lift High the Cross.’

Jerry began his organ career when he was thirteen years old, in his home church in Lancaster, Wisconsin.  He loved making music, loved his church, and loved his family.
