We are thankful you are interested in joining First Presbyterian Church.  Please reach out to our pastor (email), or indicate your desire in our weekly attendance book and you will be contacted. The Session (our governing board) is charged with accepting new members into the church, and will act on your request.

Joining a PC(USA) church is done in one of three ways:

• A public profession of faith (and baptism, if not previously baptized)
• A certificate of transfer from another church (the church office will make the transfer request of your former church)
• A reaffirmation of your faith
• Depending on the method of joining, there is a new member class with the pastor. You will meet with our elders and ask any questions or share any thoughts you may have. Our Session will then vote to admit you as a member. Finally, you will be introduced to the congregation and welcomed at a Sunday morning service.
